We’re introducing DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) shipping to make international delivery smoother and more transparent. Here’s what that means for you.
What is DDP?
DDP stands for Delivered Duty Paid. With DDP, all import duties, customs fees and local taxes are included in your total at checkout. You won’t need to pay any extra custom fee or import tax when your order arrives.
What has changed?
Previously, international orders eligible for import taxes were shipped without duties and taxes included. In those cases, customers were contacted by the courier to pay customs charges before delivery. With DDP shipping, these charges are calculated and paid in advance. This helps avoid unexpected costs and reduces the risk of customs delays.
Will delivery be faster?
In many cases, yes. As customs charges are prepaid, parcels are less likely to be held while awaiting payment.
