To keep the platform secure, we require an additional identity verification step before placing bids of €50,000 or more. This is a one-time process completed through our identity verification partner Idenfy. You can use the following documents: National ID, Passport or Driving licence. Make sure your document is valid, and that photos are clear and legible.
The process depends on the device you're using:
- On desktop: You'll be shown a QR code. Scan it with your phone and complete the verification steps directly in your mobile browser.
- On the mobile app: The verification flow runs entirely within the app — no QR code needed. Once verified, you'll be able to place high-value bids without repeating the process.
You can also increase your bidding limit by starting the identity verification from My Account ahead of time.
If the verification is unsuccessful, you may be temporarily unable to retry for up to 10 minutes.
